RESTORATIVE URBANISM

A Congress to engage and celebrate urbanism in the Midwest

In 2024 Cincinnati, Ohio will welcome urbanists from around the world to our historic river city. The Cincinnati region has been rebuilt harnessing its own diversity to overcome adversity. It’s where new entrepreneurs hone their crafts in new ways and old, where the south and north meet, where pigs fly.

A region filled with places which endure

The sum of our parts makes us stronger. Made up of distinct neighborhoods, often formed by topography, Cincinnati and its surrounding region is a mosaic of unique communities and places. From thriving historic business districts like Mainstrasse in Covington, Kentucky to redeveloping ones in places like College Hill. From newly formed neighborhoods like Factory 52 (at a former industrial site) to the venerable, John Nolan-designed, Village of Mariemont. Cincinnati is the crossroads of rivers & rails, commerce & culture, past & future.
